Dear Guides,

I wish you a Happy New Year.

The catastrophe, once in a thousand year took a lot of lives and seriously damaged our assets. The reconstruction has been hopeless delayed and increasingly unsettling our feeling.

Unfortunately, the number of guide requests has declining sharply since last March 11th. Therefore, I couldn’t contact you as often as I wanted during the whole last year.　Even now Japan has a ton of problems to cope with.

Let’s me tell, however, that our website won’t be affected by anything in this aftermath. I ‘d more than appreciate your cooperation.

I really hope that you all guides will enjoy fabulous opportunities to meet wonderful guests from all over the world and have a healthy and peaceful 2012.

aitaijapan ガイドの皆様へ

今年もどうぞよろしくお願いいたします。

1000年に一度の悲劇的な大災害は、重く深刻に日本の行く末を阻み、遅々とした復興への歩みは、社会不安をつのるばかりです。

残念ながら、aitaijapanにおいても、昨年の大震災以来今日まで、海外からのガイド依頼は激減しております。その為、皆様方と依頼メールを通じて交信する機会もほとんどなく、2011年が過ぎてしましました。

未だ日本は非常に厳しい状況でありますが、aitaijapanは、現状維持のwebsiteのまま、従来通りの活動を行ってゆこうと思いますので、今後とも皆様方のご協力を、どうぞよろしくお願いいたします。

aitaijapanボランティアガイドの皆様にとって、ガイド活動を通して世界中に方々との素晴らしい出会いが訪れ、穏やかで和やかな2012年でありますよう、心より願っております。
