I apologize for not writing sooner to thank you for helping me meet some very nice guides during my visit in March. All three were wonderful to talk with, and had an enthusiasm for their country. The guides were Junko (Yokohama), Sach (Tokyo) and Naomi (also Tokyo).

They all participated well in helping me plan my trip, find nice hotel, think of things to do and so on.

Junko took me to see Sankeien Garden. It was very nice place, and we participated in a tea ceremony. We also had a nice lunch. She is a very nice lady.

Sach went with me to the Ukiyo-e bookstores on one day, and another day to see a band at the Blue Note. We had a nice dinner together. She is very smart, and helpful. I like her a lot.

Naomi met me the first day, took me up the Tokyo Tower, and out to a bar with little snacks. Very fun time. We met near the end of my trip and went up to the Hot Springs in Hakone and even met me the last day to see Cherry Blossoms in Tokyo, have lunch and see me off to the airport! She is a wonderful sweet young lady.

These guides were all very generous with their time, flexible to the extreme (I had a few last minute changes in my plans, and they all adapted well) and I think we all had a great time. I think I have made some good long term friends in the process.
