Yoshiko was a delightful guide for a day in Kyoto. I wanted to experience dressing up as a geisha but felt my inability to speak Japanese would be an issue.
She arranged an appointment for me in advance and then escorted me to it. It turned out to be a fun new experience for both of us.
This was followed by a visit to Nishiki Market which included a delicious lunch at a hole in the wall restaurant I would never have found on my own. Simply wonderful.
Afterward she suggested Kiyomizu-dera which rounded out a perfect day. I didn’t even realize she spent 7 hours with me until much later!
